Claim the Tower ("we", "our", "the game") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data We Collect
Gameplay Telemetry (Optional)
With your consent, we collect anonymous gameplay data to improve the game experience:
- Menu navigation patterns
- Unit upgrade choices
- Expedition outcomes
- Wave completion statistics
We do NOT collect:
- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- IP addresses (not stored)
- Location data
Newsletter Subscription (Optional)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send game updates.
How We Use Data
Telemetry data is used exclusively to:
- Balance game difficulty and progression
- Identify and fix gameplay issues
- Improve user experience
We never sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Your Choices
Telemetry is opt-in. You choose whether to enable it:
- A consent prompt appears on first launch
- You can change your choice anytime in Settings
- Declining telemetry does not affect gameplay
Data Storage
Telemetry data is:
- Stored on secure Azure cloud servers
- Retained for up to 1 year
- Automatically deleted after retention period
Anonymous Sessions
Each play session generates a random ID that cannot be traced back to you. This ID:
- Is generated fresh each time you launch the game
- Is not linked to your device or any accounts
- Cannot be used to identify you across sessions
